30 Day Smoke Free-Day 14
You have done great so far, yes? We are ending our 2nd week. Half way there. We are so close to ending it all for good! Today, you should only be smoking 1/4 of the amount you smoked on Day 1.
Remember, we are now saying, “NO!” We have to keep telling our brain that we are in control of what we do. You brain will be telling you, “Just one…” You have to really fight now.
Positive Affirmations: All day keep telling yourself;
- “I will effortlessly stop smoking completely.”
- “My lungs are becoming stronger every time I don’t smoke.”
Saying it loud and proud and believe this will be.
Really get a grip on not smoking. Find ways around it and stay positive. We will be smoke free by Day 30!
Track your cigarettes and how each one makes you feel.
In your notebook, answer this question:
“What are you gaining by continuing to smoke?”
Did you know?
In 1970, President Nixon signed the law that placed warning labels on cigarettes and banned television advertisements for cigarettes. The last date that cigarette ads were permitted on TV was extended by a day, from December 31, 1970 to January 1, 1971 to allow the television networks one last cash windfall from cigarette advertising in the New Year’s Day football games.
