It is very important that you NEVER say, “I am giving up smoking.” Because that assumes that smoking was something that benefited you or it is something you will miss. You QUIT, plain and simple. You are choosing life, a long clean life.

Now, don’t get me wrong. You WILL have cravings and urges to smoke. They don’t just disappear, although that would be great. But you can defeat them by saying the affirmations over and over. When you continue telling yourself that you are happy and crave free, you are telling your brain, “hit me with your best shot, I will win over nicotine!”
Reward yourself every hour without a cigarette!
